I had a great weekend. I got to see the Dismembered Tennesseans at the festival Friday night. I did the River Rescue on Saturday. Met a lot of cool, fun people and got really dirty dragging stuff out of the woods/creek. I got home and, after taking a much-needed shower, realized that PA was about to eat his young. Get involved with the Tennesee River Rescue.  This year it's on October 6th.

I'm going to the Bowater Wilderness area, because the family really enjoys it up there.

A great article on curtailing consumerism.

So, I was reading this story about two guys traveling the world under their own power in order to raise environmental awareness. It was all well and good until I got to the end and it said they ride their bikes beside an SUV that carries all their stuff. 0_o   *sigh*
